Asma Abbas has been teaching O, AS, and A Levels Urdu for the past 24 years. She had been affiliated with the Beaconhouse School System O Level section since 2003, where she also served as the Urdu Literature coordinator for a while. Asma completed her B. Com with a gold medal followed by a Masters in Urdu Literature. She has completed multiple CAIE Urdu Literature and Language Workshops from Cambridge International and has also conducted guidance workshops for her colleagues in school. She has consistently produced excellent results and achieved a very high GPA for Urdu. Her students describe her as an engaging and enthusiastic teacher who always prioritizes student learning and uses innovative methods to make Urdu interesting by tailoring it to each student’s needs.
Asma enjoys reading and writing Urdu poetry, stories and plays in her free time and has been a debate and badminton champion since her student days.
